As the title suggests, there is really nothing new to report on our front. Chloe continues to grow and grow and grow. She has more teeth coming in, so the cranky is back. Aside from that, her vocabulary is growing and she's communicating a lot more; most of the time it's still unclear exactly what she wants, but it's fun to watch her try. Potty training continues, and she uses her little potty a few times a day. A few more weeks of this and we just might be over that hump.
Everything is progressing well with Lena's pregnancy. No appointments for a few more weeks, so nothing new since the one almost two weeks ago.
Thanks for stopping by, those of you that still do.
Oh...we are now accepting donations to the "Chloe-Gets-A-New-Bedroom" Renovation Project. E-mail at the address attached to the blog, or call me if you have the number. Now it's up to you to figure out if this is a joke or not. You can always call or email to see if I'm serious, and then you'll see if I hit you up or not. Go ahead. No, really, go ahead.

Good News...
It's confession time. For the last five weeks we have been living in an incredibly high-stress situation around here and, for the most part, we've kept the circle pretty small with this knowledge. Lena had an appointment when she was 7 weeks 2 days that lasted a few hours and brought up some potential complications that we've been dealing with these last five weeks. This morning we went to see a Maternal Fetal Medicine doctor; basically, a doctor who specializes in high-risk pregnancies, including HELLP syndrome (what Lena had with Chloe). And after five weeks of torment over the possible complications, our fears were relieved; not eliminated, but definitely lessened. Sparing you the exact details, Lena's ultrasound today showed measurements that were on-target; baby measured at 11 weeks, 5 days and a heart kicking in at 176/bpm. We also got to see little webbed fingers and toes that haven't separated yet, and a funny little pose that reminded me of Chloe's pictures from when she was much younger, with a little right arm held "up" with a little hand behind the head. It was good stuff. What this really means is that Lena will be seeing two different doctors along the same schedule (16 weeks, 20 weeks, etc.) just to make sure there are no complications like the last time. Added good news: Lena can do prenatal yoga again!!! YEAH!!!
